    • Following info from Betty Jones of Australia
      I almost forgot to tell you more about Edward Love (McGrath). I actually have a photo of him (from his fancy American wedding certificate passed onto me by his great great grandaughter, Lindy Cannon. I am having trouble trying to scan it, so will get back to you with it later)

      Lindy has also supplied me with the following information on Edward:
      1881: Edward, aged 18, living with his sister Jane Smith & her husband Richard.

      1888: Edward Love, 26, sailed on "Furnessia" from Glasgow to New York. On the same ship was his brother, Thomas McGrath.

      1889: Edward married Agnes Munro (from Glasgow Scotland) in Philadelphia.
      It is not known whether the pair knew each other before in Scotland.

      1890: Catherine Munro Love born and registered in Glasgow (Parents Edward & Agnes). Registered by Agnes. Called Kate on 91 Census, but known as "Dot" all her life. Dot was Lindy's Nanna. It is not known if Edward was still in the USA when Dot was born.

      1891: Agnes Love, Kate Love (1) & Andrew Munro -11 (illegitimate son of their cousin, Janet) living at 300 cathcart Road

      1893: Birth of Edward Ernest Love in Glasgow, registered by Edward (called
      Ernest)

      1895: Birth of Alfred harold Love in Glasgow, registered by Edward (still at 300 Cathcart Rd).

      1897: 11 Nov: Edward & Mrs Love sailed from Glasgow to New York on "Anchuria"

      1898: 27 Jan: Miss Munro, Kate, Ernest & Harold sailed from Glasgow to New York on "Anchuia".

      1988: Edward, Agnes & 3 children living at 59 Galloway St, Wavetree.

      1905: Death of Edward,ernest, aged 11, buried in Toxteth Park Cemetery.

      1907: Family living at New Ferry

      1908: Living at 27 Central Rd, Port Sunlight

      1911: Agnes died, aged 45 of stomach cancer.

      1913: marriage of Catherine Love to george Frederick BOULT (Lindy's grandparents).

      1919: Death of Edward Love in July. Buried at Christ Church, Port Sunlight, aged 56. No headstone on grave.
